Account Manager / Outside Sales Representative – GTA

Vaughan, Ontario

Full Time Permanent Position

Field Based Role to cover the GTA

Base Salary $65K negotiable on experience. Lucrative OTE

Do you have the drive to manage and grow a portfolio of accounts by prospecting, securing, and developing long-term, consultative client relationships?

Are you solution-based, able to pinpoint client challenges and collaborate with cross-functional teams?

Our Client is looking for a proactive Account Manager / Outside Sales Representative with experience in Construction Technology within the Heavy Civil and Building Construction sectors to manage and grow business opportunities across the GTA.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with contractors, engineers, and project teams
  • Present construction technology solutions
  • Manage territory and build lasting client relationships

Primary Job Functions

  • Seek out, identify, and target potential customers
  • Visit existing and prospective clients; analyze their needs; promote company products and services; and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Serve and advise key customers
  • Create and track all sales opportunities in the CRM
  • Deliver technical demonstrations
  • Prepare and send quotes to customers
  • Provide after-sales service and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Respond effectively to client requests and complete required administrative follow-ups
  • Provide technical support (by phone and in the field)
  • Actively participate in business development and client retention activities (trade shows, networking events, etc.)
  • Participate in development and technical projects endorsed by management

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in account management, outside sales, or business development within the construction, engineering, or technology sectors
  • Strong understanding of heavy civil and building construction environments
  • Experience with GPS/GNSS, Total Stations, and/or Machine Control technologies
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with contractors, engineers, project managers, and key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently and prioritize effectively
  • Comfortable working in field-based environments and visiting active construction sites
  • Experience presenting technical products and solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the GTA
