Job description

The Assistant Director will provide support to the Senior Manager. They strive to exceed client expectations, foster a culture of teamwork, develop the capabilities and skills of staff members, meet and exceed financial goals. In the long term, the person can become Store Manager, in the absence of the manager, be the person fully responsible for the operations of the store.

• Serve as a role model for customer service oriented behaviors according to company standards
• Build a team of customer-focused employees through effective recruitment, coaching and measurement
• Handle all customer complaints/concerns
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Ensure that all products meet quality standards
• Lead and manage in-store sales efforts, which may include hot weather, retail sales, fundraisers and suggestive selling
• Work with the Manager to achieve business plan goals and profitability as defined in the store operating plan and established financial goals
• Understand and implement procedures to maximize efficiency and control variances in daily production
• Understand and implement store quality control procedures
• Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands and minimize labor hours
• Inspect, troubleshoot and assess any production or equipment issues
• Demonstrate security awareness and promote store security
• Maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness of the store
• Ensure compliance with all aspects of food safety and food safety certifications
• Assist the General Manager in recruitment, hiring, training
• Supervise all shift personnel
• Demonstrate leadership
• Accounting tasks such as counting and deposit
• Assist the Managing Director in completing required corporate reporting documentation, both financial and operational
• Manage company resources responsibly, including inventory control

Requirements and experiences

• Bilingualism (French & English) is a HUGE Asset!
• Significant experience in management, sales and customer service
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
• Pleasant disposition, sociable, accommodating nature and enthusiasm
• Computer skills, Office Suite
• Must be available to work weekends, nights and evenings

Base Salary Negotiable depending on experience. Very generous bonus structure!
